Raising awareness through chalk art!

Our class recently took to the sidewalks and parking lots show raise awareness for our campaign, Sleep Deprivation!

 Here, students compare social media to being a "big wall" that we must climb over in order to sleep.

These students showed that Sleep Deprivation makes us like zombies!

 A clever way to compare "sleep please" with "sleepless!"

GLPS-This is Who We Are!

It’s your time to give a voice to those in need...

And it all starts here in Global Awareness!  The world has so many problems these days.  I bet that you have seen the news, talked to your parents, or heard from your friends that there are terrible things happening in the world.  Poverty in many countries.  Terrible pollution harming our health.  Racism in our neighborhoods.  Abuse of our precious animals.

But you have a voice that can change the world!  We will make a team with other people passionate about the same topic and create a campaign right here at camp!  You will use many creative ways to bring awareness about your passion.  The world will hear your voice!

This is going to be a fun, inspiring, life changing time at GLPS.
